About the role This exciting opportunity offers flexible hours of both face-to-face counselling (adhering to current Social Distancing stipulations) and tele-counselling. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing counselling and wellness coaching.

What we Need:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  1. Minimum of a Master of Counselling/Psychotherapy, Psychology or Social Work, or a Degree in Counselling, Psychology or Social Work with 5 years relevant experience
  2. Current membership of a professional body such as AASW, ACA, AHPRA or PACFA • demonstrated skills and passion for supporting mental health and wellbeing of clients • a team player • someone seeking to make a meaningful contribution to the wellbeing of our clients • An understanding of the broad principles of integrative oncology will be desirable
    • An understanding of holistic care, complementary therapies and wellness • Appropriate experience of writing client case notes
    • Good knowledge of and ability to apply ethical understanding to the counselling work • Knowledge of safeguarding issues
    • Knowledge of the use of supervision
