Community Engaement Project Officer- Volunteer position

- Build a network of clients and partners to promote our program across NSW
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Report and escalate to management
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Coordinate and lead the projects
Requirements
- Great educational background, preferably in the fields of social work, social sciences or welfare related discipline.
- Proven working experience as a community engagement in the not for profit sector with Children, Domestic Violence or Youth.
- Available during work time hours to make phone calls and visit potential partners and clients to promote our program.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Exceptional relationship building skills.
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter with a mature and dynamic approach.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously.
