Systems Administrators are part of the the IT/Tech Committee at Alive 90.5 FM.

Goals

Maintain Alive 90.5 FM Servers, Computers, Network in both Studios and Offices of the Station. Also, to maintain the Alive 90.5 FM Virtual Machine in Azure which hosts the Alive 90.5 FM Website. At this time, the role will also manage the Alive 90.5 FM hybrid Azure Active Directory and Microsoft/Office 365 platform.

Responsibilities

• Alive 90.5 FM Hybrid Active Directory (On Premise and Azure Active Directory)
• Alive 90.5 FM File Server
• Studio Computers (Windows 7)
• Office Computers (Windows 7/10)
• Network (Simple single LAN)
• VOIP Phones
• Alive 90.5 FM Website Server (Linux Ubuntu hosted in Azure)
• Active Directory and Email accounts.

Time Requirements

Varies due to activity, tasks and faults. Generally a System Administrator would provide for an average of 1-3 hours per week.

Own Computer and Internet allows for remote access (Splashtop)

Orientation & Training

Orientation will be given to the Alive 90.5 FM IT setup including servers, network, studio & office computers.
