Role Responsibilities: Business Development
- Research, analyse and develop a retail database.
- Contact prospects via cold calls and/or cold emails.
- Set up sales meetings for team manager.
- Provide additional analysis and commentary on channel performance as required.
Account Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with all customers.
- Establish a call cycle to visit existing accounts on-site to review performance, evaluate new opportunities, and assist with effective merchandising in-store.
- Liaise with Stock Coordinator on collect, dispatch, deliver orders into stores.
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Previous experience in account acquisition via cold calls highly desirable.
- Strong Excel and Word skills essential.
- An entrepreneurial and agile mindset essential.
- A previous successful experience is of wholesale channel/key account management highly desirable.
- Previous experience reporting on sales performance and interpreting financial data to identify trends and opportunities highly desirable.
- Experience working in the FMCG / Grocery sector an advantage.
- Experience working in a high growth small - medium-sized enterprise valuable.
- Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
- Previous experience working in a social enterprise setting desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of SisterWorks Inc.
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Demonstrated flexibility in working both autonomously and within teams.
Compulsory requirements:
