You have a passion for success and a proven record of successful strategic planning and implementation. You will be required to attend our committee meetings once a month. Make sure the secretary has mailed the monthly minutes and set the agenda. You will need to become thoroughly acquainted with the Presidents duties to be able to lead in their absence. You will help expand and diversify our donor base/pipeline and work closely with other team members to secure funding for new initiatives Vice President Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to ● Participate in the hiring and training of new team members ● Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders as required ● Lead status update meetings and provide input ● Lead Committee Meetings in the Presidents absence ● Manage budget and production agenda ● Be responsible for the overall successful operation of the team ● Manage a diverse, multi-disciplined team of professionals ● Set clear goals and objectives for the team ● Liaise between other members of the leadership team and general volunteers ● Help research funding sources and trends, with foresight, to help position us ahead of major funding changes or trends

● Support Invisible Illness aims and objectives ● Make sure that all policies & procedures are being followed and are up to date ● Participate in our awareness program and fundraising events

Vice President Requirements and Qualifications ● Leadership or management experience is essential ● Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal ● Ability to influence and engage a wide range of donors and build long-term relationships ● Strong organisational and team-building skills and ability to motivate others ● High energy and passion for our mission is essential ● Police clearance and Working with Children Check essential
