We have opportunities for people to learn new skills and people who come to us with a range of skills and experience. You can join a team keen to do a good job and volunteer with many of whom have various skills and experience. Many of our volunteers are willing and able to share their experience and knowledge with novices. We cater for people of all ages and abilities, all we ask is that you make a contribution and join our wonderful team of volunteers.

We have lots of interesting roles available enabling you to meet and work with a variety of people and teams. Our broad base of volunteers vary in age and have a range of interests and skills themselves enabling you to volunteer with like-minded, happy and fun loving people.

Depending on your interests it may range from physically challenging outdoor, renovation of our heritage locomotives and carriages, painting, gardening, catering and guiding tour groups. If you enjoy meeting people, making new friends, enjoying yourself and possibly learning new skills whilst helping operate the Award Winning Pichi Richi Railway, then this is the place to be.

Whatever you are interested in, we have roles which can meet your specific needs. Our team of volunteers come from all around the country and all walks of life to contribute to the PRRPS to "keep our history alive".
