We own a Mitsubishi Rosa 22 seater that has had four of the seats removed to allow for two wheelchairs that can be lifted on at the rear with a specially fitted elevator. We need a volunteer bus driver with a light truck licence to drive this bus to various events and venues. The driver will be supported by staff and other volunteers as we take the residents out for our bus trips. These trips usually take two hours and may include dropping off and picking up the residents or staying for the entire event. You will enjoy getting to know the residents and best of all you will see the difference you make to these peoples lives as you show them how good it is to be alive and to enjoy what the great city of Canberra has to offer.
