Non-Assisted Shopping Volunteers - Horsham Rural City

Centre for Participation
Logo for Centre for Participation

The volunteer in this role will be fit and healthy and have the time to commit to travelling to the designated area (if required), undertake a shopping expedition as per instruction and then deliver these items to the relevant service user. You will need to observe the strictest levels of cleanliness of the vehicle and your hands as per Centre for Participation's pandemic guidelines.

Volunteers in this role will require a minimum National Police Check, a current Working with Children Check (Victoria) and will be asked for a Driver History Report as a part of their application.

Volunteers will need to be healthy and well and have no contact with anyone who is ill. Note that the COVID-19 virus can remain on surfaces for quite a length of time, therefore, hand and food hygiene will be of extreme importance in this role.

A health statement will need to be signed. It is also to be understood that all volunteers MUST stop volunteering if they know they have been in contact with someone who has any kind of respiratory illness, whether the person has been tested for COVID-19 or not. Volunteers must also immediately stop volunteering if they themselves become unwell.

Volunteers registered with Centre for Participation will be covered by our Volunteer Accident Insurance Policy and Transport Accident Commission

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
