Community Meal Deliveries: Laneway Cafe - a cafe without borders: Horsham Rural City

Centre for Participation
Logo for Centre for Participation

Meal Delivery Volunteers perform a significant role in making contact with vulnerable members of the community. Laneway: a Cafe without borders prepares the meals and assists drivers to deliver the meals, safely and efficiently.

Meal deliveries are contactless and will involve no money-handling. Currently the deliveries are being made at lunch time.

Volunteers will use our Centre for Participation fleet vehicles for meal deliveries in this role.

Volunteers registered with Centre for Participation will be covered by our Volunteer Accident Insurance Policy and the Traffic Accident Commission.

Note: This volunteering role is not the same as the Meals on Wheels Program, also operated by Centre for Participation. Volunteers are most welcome to apply to do both of these delivery roles. For more information about our Meals on Wheels role, search for "Meals on Wheels delivery drivers - Horsham Rural City" on this website.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
