Becoming a tennis official is a great way to be involved in the sport you love! The first step towards becoming a tennis official is to undertake one of our entry level training programs.

This training program covers the basic rules of tennis and tennis etiquette, general principles of officiating, child safety and the role of a community official. The best part about this program is that learning can be done online at your own pace. Join us and make a difference to the sport you love!

Program Structure: Course 1 - Rules of Tennis and Tennis Etiquette (60 - 75 mins) •Learn about the basic rules of tennis, what is appropriate behavior and what are your responsibility to ensure a fair and enjoyable competition.

Course 2 - General Principles of Officiating & Safeguarding Children (45 - 60 mins) •We will introduce you to the world of a tennis official, who is in our family and what is expected of us. We will also take you through how to keep the tennis community safe.

Course 3 - Court Monitor: Basic Supervision (60 - 75 mins) •We will teach you about the role of a Court Monitor, what's involved and how to perform it successfully.

Course 4 - Coaching and practical assessment (1 day) •Come join us for a day where we will mentor you and you can practice the skills you've learnt!
