Volunteering SA&NT manages the registration and referral of spontaneous emergency volunteers for South Australia. During this extraordinary time of the COVID-19 Pandemic, volunteers may be required to assist with a variety of support activities for vulnerable people. Volunteering SA&NT is currently working with community service organisations to ascertain their needs for additional volunteers.

In the short term, volunteers may help with transportation and delivering supplies, well-being checks, call centre support, administration or computing tasks. Spontaneous volunteering will be required over the coming weeks and months, and volunteers may be needed in the long term to assist with supporting community service organisations when they can return to pre-pandemic conditions and experience an increase in demand for services.
