Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance in the delivery of HR service to management team.
  • Develop and implement Human Resources policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Develop corporate plans for a variety of Human Resources initiatives and activities such as recruitment, retention and engagement, compensation, benefits, and Work Health & Safety.
  • Support the management team in the recruitment and on-boarding of new roles
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
  • Development and implementation of other HR initiatives or projects to enhance the experience for Mood Active staff and volunteers and outcomes for all parties.
  • Encourage a culture that supports the core purpose and values of the Association.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in human resources management.
  • Excellent leadership, planning and organising kills.
  • Previous experience with HR strategy development.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
  • Outstanding knowledge of human resource management principles and working knowledge of HR metrics and data analysis, and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and remotely, self manage and achieve results

Qualification

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or relevant field
