Basketball NSW, a not-for-profit incorporated entity, is seeking a volunteer Company Secretary to assist with the smooth functioning of our statutory responsibilities.

Initially, the position will be for a 2 to 3 year term but may be longer if the parties agree.

This is a volunteer position.

The commitment will include attending 5 to 6 Board meetings each year. Board meetings are held on a Wednesday evening from 6pm to 9pm at our State office in Homebush.

All applications will be treated in confidence. We will meet with applicants and then carry a recommendation to our Board of Directors.

The principal personal qualities sought of applicants are integrity, interpersonal skills, active contributor, genuine interest, good business acumen and instinct, and diligence.
