Are you looking to make a difference? Do you have a friendly personality and a good listening ear? Wesley Mission Community Visitors Scheme is seeking to engage several volunteers to visit older people living in their own homes. Visits are held during the day and can be Monday to Friday or weekends, at a time to suit both the person and the volunteer visitor. Visit duration is a minimum of 1 hour per fortnight. Activities during the visits can include sharing stories, having a cuppa, playing a board game or sharing a craft or hobby.

Orientation training and ongoing support are provided.

Requirements – need to be over 18 and consent to a National criminal Police History check.
