OUR STORY The dream of over three generations has fuelled a deep desire to contribute to the potential of humanity. Through personal expansion and education in the science of mind, body, and spirit, it was December 2006, which saw the evolution of this timely and transformational message find its voice through our Managing Director and founder, Carren Smith. Today this message continues on in the form of our Live Hives, vital minds program, and youth leadership programs. Spirit Hive is completely volunteer run, including administration but our programs need your support to help raise vital funds, where every dollar counts towards building resilience in each person we help educate.

As a Fundraising Coordinator you will have experience with:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage fundraising events.
  • Develop a yearly fundraising strategic plan including a budget and fundraising goals for at least 3 major events (eg. Gala Dinner, Trivia Night, Concert etc.) and other avenues for fundraising (eg. Public speaking occasions, online campaigns, local school support).
  • Carry out all event administration, keep detailed records (including receipts and invoices) and manage funds raised in a timely manner, alongside the managing director.
  • Organise fundraising team meetings and subsequent communications
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, namely all board members, team members, Spirit Hive community members and the general community in planning events.
  • Attend board meetings as required to provide updates and communicate strategic objectives.
