About the role
As a new charity here in Australia, getting Sponsors from local business or larger companies is a crucial step for our growth..For this reason, we are looking for a high motived and tenacious volunteer ready to knock the door to every businesses in Sydney and Australia!
What you will do·
Set up a timeline and make a list of places you would like to reach out to Contact per emails, phone the businesses Answer questions about House to Grow and the program· Work in collaboration with the communication & marketing team to be aligned on our sponsor package Be the voice of House to grow and meet with our sponsors to create and maintain the relationship Keep records of calls and note useful information Identify potential new sources of support from individuals, community organizations, corporations and foundations. Develop strategies to cultivate and solicit these prospects. Work closely with the marketing and program staff to ensure all sponsorship benefits provided to donors. Other duties as assigned.
You will bring
Minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hight value An energetic and enthusiastic personality Outstanding listening and negotiation skills Communicate confidently and effectively (through oral and written form) Ability to work independently and autonomously Excellent writing and editing skills; including letters to donors, outreach materials, email campaigns, etc. Strong organizational, administrative, telephone and communications skills Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Raisers Edge Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with a variety of people and represent our charity in a positive and professional manner to all staff, visitors, donors, and the community
