We Are Community are an established 100% volunteer driven not for profit charity in Macarthur (soon expanding to Wollondilly).

This is a great opportunity to be involved in an inclusive, supportive community working together to make a difference by enhancing independence and reducing homelessness. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys being creative and/or studying to be an Early Childhood or Primary School Teacher (not essential).

Our Friday night 'Tina Rose' and Sunday night roast services provide healthy hot meals to our friends, including children, who are homeless or who are experiencing a difficult time.

We have opportunity for you to be part of a team at either Campbelltown on the 1st Sunday of the month, Airds on the 3rd Sunday of the month or Macquaries Fields on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. You can volunteer at more than one location if you wish.

Tasks: * Plan and prepare a low-cost creative activity to facilitate with children at meal service * Communicate to team leader any resources that are needed within budget * Set up and pack down of creative activity * Engage with the children of our 'friends' - ensure they are enjoying the activity and feel included * Follow WHS procedures * Follow direction from Team Leader as required
