Volunteer Visits can be spent doing activities such as reading a book, go for a short walk or coffee, chat and reminisce, read or watch a TV program together. Sharing your time and interests with the client will help enhance their mental, physical and emotional well being. You will be matched to the client keeping in mind your interests and convenience so you can enjoy the volunteer visitations as much as the client does and the relationship is both positive and rewarding. Australian Criminal History Check is a must. This check can be  conducted by Catholic Community Services within the orientation process after application and acceptance of the role.
