We are seeking expressions of interest from volunteers who wish to help out as the Perth Children's Hospital Foundation's friendly mascot, Stitches or Stitches assistance for events around Perth.

Stitches is a fun and cuddly bear who loves spending time with his friends at PCH. It doesn’t matter if you are a very shy person in real life as long as you can bring Stitches to life by being expressive in the suit. Stitches doesn’t speak, so body language is the key.

We often need Stitches for events that take place after business hours, and on the weekend so even if you work or study full time during the week and have a few hours to spare, we would love to hear from you.

Due to the suit requirements, ideal Stitches volunteers will be between 5’6 and 5’8 however, we have had some volunteers who were slightly taller or shorter and have been great in the suit.

We have some upcoming events south of the river that we are looking for volunteers to help at as either Stitches or Stitches helper. Please get in touch if you are available to help for any of the following dates: • Saturday 7th March • Sunday 8th March • Wednesday 18th March
