Grants Researcher
Mood Active AssociationMood Active is a not for profit community service provider that offer exercise programs for people diagnosed with depression, anxiety and other mood disorders. Participants are typically referred to us by GP’s, psychologists and community organisations and to date, feedback has been very positive. As a result, we are looking to expand our operation and this has created a need for a volunteer Grants Researcher to help grow our team of volunteers and employees
This role is for a minimum of 6 months and requires working a minimum 2-4 hours a week (worked flexibly). This is a work from home role.
Responsibilities
- Research private and government grants and sponsorship opportunities and developing an annual Grants Strategy and action plan
- Develop and maintaining a grants and proposals calendar
- Develop a list of sponsors to target and if possible identify contact names
- Provide feedback on strategies and approaches that will assisting in winning grants and sponsorship based on research
Essential skills and experience:
- Previous experience writing or researching grants
- Experience in research, analysis and problem solving
- Maintain excel spreadsheets and grants calendar
