The program
The Bi-Cultural Community Health program is run by Red Cross staff, including a team of Bi-Cultural Community Health workers who understand the health care challenges their communities face. We work in collaboration with local communities and services to provide vital health information and support. We work in collaboration with local communities and services to provide the support through one-on-one conversations, group information sessions and community forums. We work in partnership with the Phoenix centre.
The opportunity
The Men’s group is to connect men and encourage them and improve their health and wellbeing. The main task of the role is transporting men who need support and participate in the group activities.This role suits someone over the age of 18, a good communicator, willing to work with new migrants, communicating with the coordinator, community members and other workers of the program.
