Your responsibilities are to:

  • take care of the nonprofit by ensuring prudent use of all assets, including facility, people, and good will
  • ensure that the learning creative skills activities and transactions are, first and foremost
  • advance our mission
  • recognise and disclose conflicts of interest
  • make decisions that are in the best interest of the learning creative skills and not in the best interest of the individual board member.

Due to the current situation with Covid-19, we will prioritise the wellbeing and protection of our volunteers by ensuring they are not exposed or involved in large gathering situation. This is why we have changed our business model to an invidualised supported employment based on one to one approach.

All our volunteers will be encouraged to use protective masks and appropriate hand sanitisers provided by us in order to minimise the risks of contamination. We also encourage our Volunteers to adopt working from home model whilst they support us rather than attending the workplace.

Role Requirement:

  • Determining the mission and purposes of the learning creative skills.
  • Selecting and evaluating the performance of the chief executive.
  • Strategic and organisational planning.
  • Ensuring strong fiduciary oversight and financial management.
  • Fundraising and resource development.
  • Approving and monitoring the organisation’s programs and services.
  • Enhancing the organisation’s public image.
  • Assessing its own performance as the governing body of the organisation.
