Boat Holders The Boat Holder is a voluntary position that supports the fair and orderly boat racing by holding boats at the start of each 2000m race. You will be treated to a showcase of some of the best Australian rowing and para-rowing including Olympic and World champions.It’s a great chance to get outdoors, meet some amazing people and see some of the best rowers in the world in action!
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Adjust start fingers as required by the start officials.
- Hold and adjust boat position at the start as instructed by the start aligner.
- Undertake other duties as instructed by event umpires and boat holding team leaders.
