Pre-event volunteer briefing and support whilst volunteering

Time required

5-6 hours on Event Day. Opt #1 – Drive directly to your location, please be there at 6.20 am Opt #2 – Meet at Gloucester Park – Gate 1 (located on Nelson Crescent), at 5.45 am sharp. You will then be transported by one of our event buses to get to your location.

Requirements

As an aid station attendant, you will be required to perform the following tasks: • Assist with setting up/packing down the aid station • Distribute cups filled with water to participants as they run past. Please note you will need to . Wear protective gloves (supplied) at all times to ensure drinks are not contaminated • Clean up cups during and after participants have been through the aid station • Know the location of your aid station in relation to the course so you can accurately answer the question – how much further have I got to go? If you enjoy being part of a motivated team and are a reasonably active person (there may be some walking, lifting, bending over and moving quickly), we'd love to hear from you.
