Logo for National Trust of Australia (Vic)

About the organisation: The National Trust of Australia is an independent, non-profit organisation supported by a large community base. We are Victoria's premier heritage and conservation organisation and the major operator of historic properties and sites open to the public across Victoria.

About the exhibition: Miss Fisher returns to Rippon Lea Estate. Phryne returns with a brand new exhibition filled with glamour, romance and adventure.  Experience large scale installations recreating Miss Fisher’s world, complete with an interactive mystery experience, all the while enjoying the feature film costumes designed by Margot Wilson, props and more from Miss Fisher’s first cinematic release, Miss Fisher and The Crypt of Tears.

Help us engage visitors in the adventure with Phryne Fisher and unravel a decade-old mystery concerning priceless emeralds, ancient curses and the truth behind the disappearance of a forgotten tribe. Volunteers are vital for ensuring visitors have the best possible immersive experience being transported back to where it all began with a retrospective of the Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries as well as costumes from Ms Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries and Miss S.

What’s involved in volunteering? • Exhibition guiding; welcoming, assisting and supervising visitors • Interactive experience: assisting visitors in solving the ‘Reverse the Curse’ mystery inside the mansion • Story tellers; answer questions and sharing behind the scenes insights into the making of the exhibition • Guides will be placed throughout the historic mansion, with the opportunity to exchange places with other guides during the day. In this way, guides will also be able to enjoy the exhibition and spend time with different members of their team. Located at Rippon Lea Estate on Hotham Rd, Elsternwick, the exhibition is open daily commencing the 20th of March until 19th July 2020, volunteer shifts run from 9.30am to 4.30 pm.
