Girl Guides WA is the state’s premier volunteer organisation for girls and women, empowering members to grow into confident, self-respecting, responsible community members. We are seeking a volunteer Region Manager for the Whitfords Coastal Region.

The Region Manager coordinates Girl Guiding in a geographical area of WA, managing and supporting volunteer Leaders, on-boarding new Leaders, getting involved with Units of youth members, helping with risk and administrative management, representing Guiding at community events and building Guiding in the region.

There are some regular time commitments such as meetings with your volunteer team and quarterly state meetings for Region Managers; however, much of this job can be done from home and after hours.

Are you a positive, supportive person who is willing to be a member of Girl Guides WA and offer your support to volunteers in your local area? Do you believe in empowering girls and young women to participate fully in community life and become leaders in society?

The Region Manager's term of appointment is three years. The Whitfords Coastal Region Manager covers Carine, Craigie, Duncraig, Padbury, Hillarys and all suburbs along that coastal strip. There are around 6 Units in the Region.
