About Anglicare WA: Anglicare WA is a not for profit community service organization. For over 40 years we have been a trusted partner helping communities thrive. We offer 86 services in 44 locations across Western Australia, including services that support families and young people, provide financial counselling, advocacy and mental health support and seek to influence policy makers and drive positive and lasting change.

As a Bric-a-Brac Processor, you will be working with our op shops teams. Our Op Shops are a vital source of fundraising for our many services, and also help to fight against fast fashion and divert items from landfill. You will play a key role in supporting our team to keep our bric-a-brac looking great, by:

• Cleaning and pricing bric-a-brac • Creating interesting and engaging displays of the bric-a-brac for sale • Organising, restocking and refreshing bric-a-brac departments • Identifying particularly unique pieces that could be shared on our instagram

The ideal volunteer for this role will: • Have strong organizational skills • Have attention to detail • Have the ability to work well in a team and autonomously • Be fit and able to lift 16kgs • Have basic customer service skills - desired, but not essential

However, the most important thing we are looking for is someone who shares and models Anglicare WA’s values, is a motivated and friendly team player and has a willingness to learn.

Timing: We are looking for volunteers available to assist with our Brica donations at the Midland op shop at the following times:

11am – 4pm Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays

Essential Screening and Checks Before commencing all volunteers will need to: • Hold a National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months, or be willling to apply for one. (If you do not have one of these, we can assist you to apply.) • Complete Anglicare WA’s volunteer induction steps and training.
