Role Description: The Wellbeing Officer will work closely with the Director of Spark Productions Australia Inc. to encourage positive physical and mental wellbeing for all volunteers, dancers and musicians. They will help create opportunities for mindfulness/mental health education within the company and will ensure all rehearsals and events are centred around Spark's value of mental and physical wellbeing. This person will also make sure all members have access to support systems if needed.

Responsibilities include: • Coordinating mindfulness/mental health related activities in rehearsals • Supporting the mental and physical wellbeing of all members of the company • Finding guest mental health speakers • Offering support options • Identifying members who may need more support and working with Director/member/family to offer further support • Help build strong relationships between all members

Qualifications/Skills required: • Interest in mental health, wellbeing, psychology, youth work • Would suit someone studying for a psychology or social worker qualification • Experience working with young people aged 7-25 in any capacity • Qualifications in mental health field highly encouraged and welcomed, but not required • Current Working With Children’s Check • Level 2 First Aid & CPR
