Role Description: The Fundraising Director will work closely with the Spark Productions Board to produce concepts, budgets and detailed plans for fundraising events and activities. They will be required to produce one major fundraising event per year for the company as well as several other smaller fundraising events and activities and must work closely with the board to secure new sponsors and maintain relationships with ongoing sponsors.

Responsibilities include: • Manage fundraising team • Creating and managing sponsorships • Planning and organising fundraising events for the season • Research grant opportunities liaise with director to find grants and apply • Stay in touch with sponsors and donors • Assist with Patreon • Attend and participate in all relevant meetings • Attend and assist with all shows and events

Qualifications/Skills required: • Current Working with Children’s Check • An interest in dance, theatre or shows • An interest in producing and coordinating events • An interest in fundraising • Impeccable money management skills • High level of organisation • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – will need to confidently represent the company when liaising with sponsors and donors • Confidence in communicating over phone and email • An interest in connecting with members of the local community
