The Old Colonists’ Association of Victoria is a long established not for profit organisation providing care and accommodation for older Victorians. It is looking to further support its residents by engaging a volunteer to join in and assist with morning melodies....... this is a new activity we are introducing and would love for the volunteer to have a bit of musical experience.

We hope to have a small group of residents and with the help of a volunteer, have a sing a long morning with some of their favourite tunes.

To be successful in this volunteer position you will need:-

• A friendly & understanding nature with good communication skills • A good knowledge of older music • Ability to interact in a team and to interact positively & patiently with residents, staff & families. • Ability to maintain & respect confidentiality.

Have fun, make a difference to people’s lives, whilst gaining personal & professional skills.

To ensure a safe environment for residents, all volunteers will have to complete a Police Check and sign a statutory declaration before commencing with OCAV.
