Connect Victoria Park Inc is committed to making Vic Park a great place for everyone 55+. We create opportunities for people to connect with each other, build community and stay healthy. We also provide affordable housing for older people.

Connect Victoria Park is a not for profit organisation that offers affordable housing to 80 people aged 60 +. Appropriate housing is key for health and wellbeing, as it provides not only security and stability, but autonomy and freedom to pursue other interests, keep connected and contributing to community.

Connect Victoria Park’s Village Hub is the first of its kind in Western Australia, and the second in Australia. We want to make Vic Park the best place for people 55+ to live in WA.

The Village Hub helps connect people 55+ to enjoy full and purposeful lives, build community and share skills and knowledge.

We do that by providing opportunities to stay active and healthy, to meet and get to know other people, share interests, learn new skills and develop friendships. The Village Hub relies on contributing members and volunteers to assist with the delivery of its many programmes events and groups

We need to continually communicate with our members and our quarterly newsletter The Ageless is one tool that we use to achieve this.

The Ageless is Connect Victoria Parks quarterly newsletter focussed on positive ageing, community and the activities of our Village Hub. It is circulated to Members, the wider 55+ community as well as members of the local community.

We are looking for an experienced person to research and write feature articles for this publication that will be topical of interest to our demographic.

We would probably require 2 feature articles to be produced in a 3 month period.
