Social Foundry is a social enterprise seeking to empower communities to mentor, nurture, and impart life-skills to their local neighbourhoods.

The Social Foundry Cafe, located in Kyneton,  is looking for enthusiastic and energetic volunteers to join us on Saturdays from 10am-2pm and weekday afternoons from 3.30-5pm to work in our fabulous cafe.

The Vision of The Social Foundry is to build social enterprises that can impart life and career skills alongside meaningful mentoring relationships to people whose opportunities have been limited.

We seek to mentor and share life-skills to at-risk people in local contexts. We call these people our friends! We believe they have the potential to change the world. It's our hope, that you'll see the same hope in all people. Hospitality, conservation land management, woodwork and carpentry are just some of the ways we're training and equipping our friends to reconnect and sow good into our local communities... It's so good!

Do you want to meet new people? Gain some hospitality experience? Or just want to help out this wonderful social enterprise? No experience is necessary, just a can-do approach. Training will be provided.

Volunteers work with our cafe team to help serve food and drinks, assist with kitchen support duties as a runner and dishes and front-of-house.
