Adventist Senior Living is a not-for-profit organisation with four sites throughout North New South Wales. The site in Cooranbong, in the Lake Macquarie district, provides aged care services to over 500 people. These services range from Independent Living to High Care, including dementia specific care. Our team of 120 volunteers assists us in providing holistic and complete care to all residents.
The Dining Room Support position aims to support our residents at meal times where they require assistance eating. This opportunity has a social element, other volunteers in this area have enjoyed getting to know residents during their meal, and buddying with the same people every shift. Empathy, attention to detail, and a willingness to listen will serve you well in this position. Appropriate training will be provided before you start.
