Task include but are not limited to:

• Dispense medication as required
• Administer first aid as required
• Manage the first aid and medical kits
• Record medication dispensed, and treatments provided
• Securely store medical and consent forms
• Identify and report potential risks / hazards that may impact upon a young person's health and safety
• Provide advice and / or information to CanTeen staff in relation to the treatment of young people
• Observe young people's behaviours and discourage any behaviour that is likely to impact negatively upon others utilising behaviour modification techniques
• Liaise with relevant health professionals if a young person or member of staff is unwell
• Accompany young people to a medical centre or hospital if and when required
• Actively encourage young people in supporting relationships with their peers
• Support young people in developing their own skills
• Supervise young people during activities
• Facilitate or co-facilitate small discussion groups and debriefs
• Provide feedback to CanTeen staff on process improvement techniques where appropriate
