The Program Edu.Cat is a ground-breaking education program that provides exciting activities and an engaging subject matter – cats! It includes STEM challenges, teacher guidebooks, activity plans, student workbooks, posters, online resources and is free and available to all schools in Tasmania. You will receive full training and support from the Ten Lives team.

The Opportunity To help deliver our program we are looking for fun, creative and confident volunteers who love kids, kitties and leading a classroom. You don’t need previous teaching experience – just the enthusiasm to inspire the next generation to care for cats responsibly. In your admin time at the centre, you will assist in the preparation of classroom material, with a helping paw (or not) from our curious office kitties!

The Impact With your help, we can create long term social change in how people care for cats, improve community relationships and protect wildlife. Ten Lives has already received an exciting response to Edu.Cat from schools, last year reaching 12,000 students. Our goal is to reach 22,000 students every year.
