Community Connections Volunteer

Community Connections aims to connect community members with other community members and services through regular phone calls, events and activities. This program includes the Safety for Seniors and Social Connector Luncheon programs. Your duties will include phoning program members on a regular basis to: provide information on upcoming social connection events, share the safety messages as scheduled, and engage members in general conversation. Follow documented procedures for making phone calls, record details of phone calls as required, alert the Program Coordinator or other officer of any concerns, attend training and supervision meetings where possible, attend program social events where possible and act as a host (welcoming members, ensuring they feel comfortable, assisting with event management as requested).
