Volunteering with HammondCare At Home is one way you can give something back to the aged or frail in our society. Not only does volunteering have a profound effect on the person you spend time with, but you'll learn a lot as you spend time with them in their own home.

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals who can sit and have a chat, reminisce and talk about topics of interest. You may want to spend some time in their garden, play cards, go for a walk, listen to music or do some arts and craft activities.

If you have one hour to spare in your week (Monday to Friday) and would like to improve an older person’s life by providing a little companionship, we would love to hear from you. We'll match you with a person in your local area and HammondCare will provide training as well as on-going support.
