Calvary Riverina Hospital is a private Catholic hospital.  While not necessarily being of the Catholic faith, our pastoral care volunteers respect the faith of our founders.  Pastoral care volunteers also respect every person's faith or spiritual beliefs, they are good listeners and don't give advice.  Our pastoral care volunteers attend orientation and mandatory training, are part of a team, and are supervised by our Pastoral Care Manager.   Confidentiality is crucial.   After successfully completing an application process and relevant vaccinations, a supervised probation period of 3 months applies to the role.
