Human Resources Volunteer
Spinal Life AustraliaSpinal Life Australia is a non-profit organisation that provides expert knowledge, specialist therapies and supports tailored for people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities.
We are seeking a Human Resources Volunteer to join our Head Office Team based at Woolloongabba.
Our People & Culture team play a key role in our organisation and they are responsible for the coordination and delivery of HR services with a focus on support and administration, to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
This is an exciting time for a Volunteer who is looking to join an experienced, service orientated, professional team delivering great outcomes for our clients and our staff. Ideally, we are looking for a Volunteer who can work a minimum of 2 days per week for at least six months. Days and hours are negotiable.
The position would suit a new graduate or a HR student with the following skills:
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is desirable
- Well developed written & verbal communication skills
- An attention to detail & process driven
- Ability to work independently & proactively
Volunteering covers the following areas:
- Administration and support including maintaining the HRIS
- Criminal History Screening and Visa renewals
- Induction and onboarding
- HR Projects
