Office Support Volunteer – Alexandria Youth Off The Streets is a non-denominational organisation working for young people who may be facing challenges around homelessness, drug dependency and/or recovering from abuse. We support these young people as they work to turn their lives around and overcome immense personal trauma such as neglect, physical, psychological and emotional abuse.Do you have a passion to make a difference in the lives of young people  in need?  Volunteers are essential to our success.  We are looking for someone to offer general assistance to our Fundraising team.  You will be involved general administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, and printing, opening mail, assisting with fundraising events, and some data entry.  We are a great team and have some fun while we all pitch in to make good things happen for young people and their communities.  Come and join us! The position is based in Alexandria and we would be happy to work in with your availability.  Our volunteers need to be a minimum of 21 years of age. We are looking for someone who has the following skills:· Intermediate level of computer / IT skills Well organised with a good attention to detail Good communication skills Ability to work independently Good phone manner (if comfortable to make thank you calls etc)· Reliable and committed Maintain confidentiality in line with Program Policies and Code of Conduct. As Youth Off The Streets is a Child Safe Organisation and if successful you will be subject to a National Police Check and need to hold a valid Working with Children Check.
