Arabic and Assyrian speaking Volunteers are needed to provide translating assistance to customers of a community organisation in the Fairfield area.

This Organisation is committed to ensuring that their customers enjoy equal access to services, programs and opportunities and recognise that some people find it difficult to communicate well in English. This is where your support is needed to help people with limited English to engage with the information they need. This may include assisting with form filling, photocopying, scanning and printing of documents.

Volunteers are needed Mondays-Fridays, with a minimum commitment to one 4 hour shift per week preferred. Their opening hours are as follows:

• Mondays & Wednesdays: 9.30am-6pm
• Tuesdays and Thursdays:  9.30am-9pm
• Fridays: 9.30am-5pm
