Market Volunteers are able to contribute with the following activities • checking in stalls from 6.00am (2 hours’ work) • taking shifts at the info tent to receipt stall payments and field customer queries between 8am and 2pm (2-3 hours per shift) • assisting with assembling the market’s own shade infrastructure including gazebos, the large shade cloth and info tent from 6.30am (2 hours’ work) and packing down from 1pm-ish onwards (60 mins’ work)- some heavy lifting • assisting with placing and managing what goes in to the bins - we aim to separate all rubbish at the markets according the three bin system Clarence Valley Residents know from their homes - to avoid sending the bulk of rubbish to landfill (intermittent work between 7am to 2pm - can be done in shifts)
