Looking for a Volunteer digital content producer
Save the ChildrenVolunteer digital content producer Role purpose The role of the volunteer digital content producer will be to support the creation of digital tools and resources for the Strength2Strength project. The Strength2Strength project worked with men and boys from immigrant and refugee backgrounds in domestic violence prevention education and awareness. The volunteer will work closely with program participants in capturing the learnings from the 12-month project. Up to 15hrs per week over a period of 2months will be required for the role and the volunteer will be based in our office in West Perth with frequent travel to film in the City of Gosnells.
Role responsibilities Responsibilities of the role will include:
• Working with the project officer and team leader to develop audience and topic-specific content, scripts and storylines • Creating and directing production of engaging and interactive video digital stories and/or photo shoots • Contribute to the design of a Strength2Strength webpage • Support implementation of the communications strategy • Provide general communications and digital support
Skills and experience • Tertiary qualifications in communication, video production or related discipline with a passion for story-telling • Experience filming, producing and editing video stories • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to work independently and reliably with minimal supervision • Strong interpersonal skills • Previous working experience with culturally and linguistically diverse communities will be an advantage
The successful candidate will be required to provide or be willing to apply for a Working with Children Check and obtain police clearance which can be facilitated by the organization.
