Cancer Council WA's Relay For Life Perth is seeking a Sponsorship Coordinator, reporting to the Committee Chair . This role is responsible for managing sponsorship for Relay For Life Perth.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who has strong networking skills and the ability to deliver the sponsorship benefits agreed to with our partners. This role would suit someone who has time to meet with organisations midweek regarding sponsorship opportunities.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities: • • In consultation with the Chair, develop and implement a sponsorship plan • Seek and source sponsors for the event • Nurture current and new sponsors • Oversee the delivery of sponsorship benefits – pre, at event and post event • Provide a sponsorship package to the sponsor that includes the commitment of Relay For Life and the sponsor • Ensure signed agreements detailing the sponsorship is provided to the Chair • Provide a post-event report for the Chair and Cancer Council WA community Engagement Coordinator • Develop, maintain and manage comprehensive records of all sponsorship approaches – positive or negative • Attend 75% of committee meetings and other event-related meetings • Promote all other areas of Relay For Life particularly team recruitment • Work cooperatively with organising committee • Participate in an event review process
