Twilight Aged CareWhy Choose Twilight Aged Care? The role of volunteers has been pivotal to Twilight Aged Care over the years and continues to be increasingly important. Twilight Aged Care was built on the selfless support of volunteers who provide an independent source of comfort to our residents, outside of carers. We are always happy to welcome new members into our community, as our volunteers not only enrich the lives of the residents and staff, they make a real difference. The Twilight Aged Care Volunteer Program has recently been revitalised and now includes a comprehensive orientation, training, handbook and team support. Our Gladesville. Activities may include restoring an old dressing table, playing chess or poker, having a BBQ while chatting over a beer. The support of a volunteer to assist our male residents and run the small session will be greatly appreciated. It's also gives the volunteer an opportunity to chat and get to know our lovely gents. Twilight Aged Care will provide you with a through induction and ongoing training in accordance to legislative requirements, and the nature of the work undertaken by the volunteer and a safe and friendly environment. All successful applicants will be required to consent to a National Police Check*. All volunteer appointments are subject to a satisfactory national police clearance certificate. Police Check outcomes are considered in accordance with applicable legislation and relevant standards.
