BUSHFIRE RECOVERY - CONSTRUCTING NESTING BOXES - Expressions of interest

Conservation Volunteers Australia

In the aftermath of the recent bushfires, CVA has been entrusted as a one of the key organisations to deliver immediate environmental recovery needs of bushfire affected areas. As an initial practical environmental response, we are inviting the broader community to contribute in the much needed recovery and ecological rehabilitation of these areas. The focus of these events is on restoring vegetation and waterways along with assisting native wildlife to return into the affected areas. Come and join us in Ballina in the upcoming Saturdays to start the immediate assembling of nest boxes for a wide range of native animals, construction of insect hotels to attract insects that can continue their crucial ecological roles in the environment and construction of wildlife watering stations. We look forward to helping the fire affected areas and providing our wildlife new opportunities and new beginnings!
