Aboriginal Community Network Administration Support Volunteer
Aged Rights Advocacy Service (ARAS)ARAS is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic volunteer for 1 to 2 days a month, to assist with the administration of Aboriginal Community Network meetings. The role will include tasks such as: agenda and minutes, preparation for meetings, printing and collation, compiling materials and resources and setting up the meeting venue.
The Aged Rights Advocacy Service (ARAS) offers a free, confidential and state-wide service to older people, or their representatives, who are: -Living in residential aged care -Receiving Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) or Home Care Package (HCP) services -At risk of, or experiencing abuse from family or friends -Living in a retirement village.
ARAS provides advocacy assistance to support older people to uphold their rights and their responsibilities. ARAS is the South Australian component of the National Aged Care Advocacy Program.
