About the roles This role supports patients, families and staff in the Mary Potter Hospice. Current volunteers find the role very rewarding. Duties include: • Liaise with Team Leader and record patient meal requirements for Volunteer Communication Book • Answer Call Bells (priority) • Deliver fresh tray to each room • Assist with patient breakfast requirements • Clean and tidy refresh family kitchen • Be willing to assist with any reasonable request

Established in 1976, the Mary Potter Hospice has developed an excellent reputation in palliative care for people with terminal illness through the skilled and dedicated services provided by a multidisciplinary team comprising doctors, nurses, social worker, physiotherapist, music therapist pastoral care and a complementary therapy team, all of whom are supported by a committed team of volunteers.
