Thomastown Library is looking for an engaging, personable and knowledgeable individual to volunteer with our Beginner Sewers Club.

This is a great opportunity for you if: • you’re enthusiastic about encouraging learning and problem-solving • you have knowledge of sewing machines and you want to share your skills • you are passionate about meeting others in your community

Volunteers will support a 3 hour Beginners Sewing Club drop in session open to any age. This program is a core part of our makerspace and aims to help beginners get to know how to use a sewing machine and simple sewing.

Volunteers must be available for following shifts on a weekly recurring basis: • 10:00am – 1:00 pm Tuesdays during school terms
