RACQ International Women's Day Fun Run - support needed for Sunday morning 8th March

Mater Volunteers

We are so excited for YOU to join us -and 13 000 other Brisbane women and girls- on Sunday 8th March at the Mater Foundation's  RACQ International Women’s Day Fun Run 2020!

Volunteers really do make the world go round, and in the case of the RACQ International Women’s Day Fun Run, our Water Station and our  Course Marshals/Cheer Squad have such an important role- and have a lot of fun!

By donating your time you’re also helping to make an immediate impact for women with breast cancer, enabling us to put more funds towards providing tangible and timely support services like house cleaning, counselling and mastectomy bras.

It will be an early start on a Sunday morning but you will not be disappointed as early Sundays are magnificent- especially on March 8!

We have a water station that still requires volunteers. The water station volunteers keep our participants hydrated and safe and cheer them on. It is one of our most popular roles.

We also have course marshal/cheer roles available. This role involves directing and encouraging participants, monitoring the course for accidents and assisting spectators to cross the course safely in appropriate locations. You will be provided with the necessary information and training in the lead up to the event to complete this role.

What are you waiting for? Please express interest below. We will then email you the link to our online signup page for the event.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
